The room was clean and spacious and the hotel was in good order. The staff were helpful and there was a large selection of food available as part of the included breakfast. It exceeded my expectation in every way. I've stayed in worse hotels that were far more expensive.
The only negative thing I can think of was that the room had a double bed but had two mattresses made up as singles. I'm sure they would have remedied this for me if i'd asked but i wasn't staying long enough to make it worthwhile. On the plus side, it made it harder for my girlfriend to steal the covers.

Staff is friendly, clean, small rooftop pool.
Far from the sea - 15 minutes walk. Late settlement at 14-30, had to wait 30 minutes. Poor breakfast.

Excellent value for money: the best ever! When we booked this Hotel it was the cheapest in all Malta, so we weren't expecting too much... But in the end we could get a lot! Our room was very nice with a balcony and a big en-suite bathroom; everything was clean. The swimming pool on the roof was very nice and with a lovely view; I liked the idea of having a bar next to the pool. The hotel's got also an indoor pool, a restaurant, a nice bar and a "game room" with a pool table. Friendly staff. I could see that all guest in the Hotel were very satisfied as everybody was smiling and greetings: good vibes! I would definitely stay there again and I highly recommend it!
This place was very hard to find the first time. You should probably print a map from the web before to get there. If you ask information to locale people there, you'd better ask for the "Bella Vista Hotel" (which, by the way, you can also see from the bus from Valletta) which is more known in town (all the people I stopped in the streets were extremely nice but almost nobody knew "Sunflower Hotel"). "Sunflower Hotel" is basically speaking behind the "Bella Vista". Once you know how to get, also the location is good as it's not too far to the main spots and from the bus stop (about 10-15 min walking) but, at the same time, isolated enough to allow you to sleep perfectly in a quite area.

It was very quiet thankfully, nice room
I would have liked a kettle in the room and more English language tv channels, and stay away from the vending machine, it stole 3 euro on me, the area around the hotel could do with a shop .

From the moment we arrived we found the staff really helpful, friendly and efficient. This was from the manager down to the commis in the kitchen, we were made to feel at home. The rooms and the linen were clean and were serviced every day.
The indoor pool was not as warm as we had hoped, but that may have been due to the fact that there weren't a lot of guests staying.at the time we were there.
